Wa Ale Island
 
     
The Wa Ale Island is an annexure of the Lampi Island and is 65 nautical miles (North) from the Salone Island.
The beaches on the Wa Ale are very clean, un-inhabitant, and white sand. It is very close to many good sea kayaking and snorkeling sites.
The Lampi Island is 24 miles long and 3 miles wide and has been a
National Wild Life and Marine Park since 1994. The Lampi has many birds, animals, fishes and marine mammals including elephants, monkeys, tigers, turtles and dolphins. The beaches on the Lampi are among the best beaches in the world. The Lampi is the best island for

LIR Co., Ltd. will develop a Five Star Resort called Lampi Island Resort on the Wa Ale for the tourists who want to do sea kayaking, snorkeling, sailing, sun bathing, swimming and wild life watching tours around the Wa Ale and the Lampi. The total area of the LIR is
50 acres and this large area will be arranged as the first class privacy area for tourists.
Tourists could see the Salones who had lived on boats through out their lives. The population of Salones is very small and their boat designs are unique. The
Salones have their festival on the month of the April. They are known as
Sea Gypsies in the western countries and Mokens as in Thailand and Malaysia.
